Oasis is a community of emerging adults who are pursuing Jesus Christ and seeking to live lives of vibrant faith.
The Oasis gathering on Sunday Nights is an experiential worship service for college students & young adults where you will find rest, renewal and redemption as you encounter God’s presence.
Oasis provides a unique opportunity to:
Encounter God’s presence through worship, community and biblical teaching.
Connect with other students and become part of a vibrant community of people who are pursuing faith together.
Serve in the community of Brookings, across the country and around the world.
Core Elements of The Oasis Vision
Rest – We live in a hectic world. People are often overworked and overcommitted. We are a culture prone to burnout. Our hope and prayer is that through the Oasis ministries people will find rest as they encounter the presence of Jesus Christ.
Renew – At Oasis we hope students will have a renewed sense of what it means to pursue Jesus Christ and be people of faith. By His grace Jesus seeks to bring renewal to our lives.
Redemption – The overarching purpose of the ministry of Jesus was redemption. Jesus sought to bring healing and wholeness to the brokenness in our lives. The purpose of our ministry is to see the redemptive work of Jesus Christ in the lives of students and young adults.
