VISION
Encounter Grace
We desire to be a church where people Encounter the Grace of God. Grace is the divine enablement of God; God doing in you what you can’t do in yourself. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.” We want people to encounter the living Christ and to experience new life in Him, living life as it is meant to be lived.
Grow In Grace
We desire to be a church where people are Growing in Grace, where life is viewed as a journey of discovering how to live more like Christ. It is God’s plan for His followers to think and live differently. The first part of Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The follower of Jesus is to be radically transformed. We believe that the key components in this transformation are the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the Bible and the community of believers which is the Church.
Become Grace Givers
We desire to be a church full of followers who live out 1 Peter 4:10, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” As we serve in the power and love of Christ we bring grace, the power of God, to bear on the lives of others. According to Ephesians 2:10 we are created to serve and we will be most fulfilled when this lifestyle is adopted. Such a life will also touch others with the love of Jesus.
